What I have learnt from my neighbor’s Washroom.

November26

When remodeling a house, bathrooms more often than not get the last preference I recently realized that bathroom is a place where most of my guests invariably visit. This realization does make me feel that I need to start paying more attention to it.Typically a bathroom is smaller in size than other rooms and hence decorating it is also requires special skill. However, you can still make your washroom look as good as the rest of the rooms, provided you plan a bit. I have made a list of a few tips for you to consider.
Before you start planning the layout of your bathroom, do try to make up your mind about the amount of automation and appliances that you wish to have. Depending on your choices and you budget you may go with different types of massage chairs, paper towel dispensers, etc. You can also think of making a kitchen paper towel holder for yourself. You might also want to toil with the option of getting a wall mount paper towel holder.
Theme
Not everyone can have a theme decorated rooms. A few who do not use a theme in other places may do so in the bathroom.Because washrooms are small, you’re less likely to overdo the theme as you might in a larger room. Some theme suggestions: popular movies, favorite celebrities, short-lived hobbies there are no limit to the possibilities. Some people are totally disinterested at the idea of themed beautification. That is because of the prejudiced approach towards themed decoration. For no evident reason themed decoration gives them the idea that everything should represent the theme. . As per your choice, you can incorporate as much or as little of your theme.

Mirrors
Mirrors in a washroom! No surprise there, but a decorating option that is often overlooked for a bathroom is adding extra mirrors besides the one that is hanging over the sink.. Using a decorative mirror in a washroom might enhance elegance and contribute towards making a small room look bigger. And certainly it will save a lot of time, just in case you have more than one person getting ready. Even if your bathroom is already large, an elegant mirror may turn into a focal point and contribute towards grounding all of your other decorative elements.

Wall Hangings – Metal
If you think mirrors are too fussy then a properly placed metallic wall hanging is your next bet. Naturally, this may not look cool with all situations, however if you are planning to create a bathroom that bleed of simple elegance; a metal wall hanging would be your best betBecause metal hangings are available in so may variation, it’s easy to find one to fit the awkward walls that are at times present in a washroom.

Paint
Its quite obvious that choosing the correct paint color can make or break your attempt at decorating. However when painting a bathroom, the type of paint used is even more important than the color. Knowing that the washroom paint must be able toendure high humidity especially during the long showers, you might want to select a paint that can stand up to such conditions. Hence you may want to use a high gloss finishYou should also be using a good primer before applying your paint. This will give your paint durability and will reduce peeling and sagging.

Lighting
The most important aspect of decorating is selecting proper lighting and bathroom is no exception.. You would not only want the lighting to be decorative but also bright enough, especially in a place where you do your make up and fuss around with your hair. Ifyou see a lighting feature that is irresistible, but it does not provide sufficient light, consider adding recessed lighting.

Hopefully, these tips haveinstigated to tackle the task of decorating your bathrooms.
